White House Fence Jumper Dominic Adesanya suffers from paranoia

Dominic Adesanya, the Nigerian who scaled the White House fence, suffers from paranoia and complained that he is being watched by cameras.
The father of the 23-year-old, Victor Adesanya, told The Associated Press in a telephone interview on Thursday, 24 October 2014 that his son has had mental health problems for over a year.
Mr Adesanya said that Dominic “complained about cameras everywhere,” and at one point searched for the imagined hidden cameras in the family’s attic and the bathroom wall.
“He’s not violent. He’s not a criminal. He’s not a murderer. He’s just someone that’s just mentally disturbed.
“It’s been hard. It’s hard to be in your house and not know if the person you’re living with is trustworthy and to know they’re mentally disturbed like he is,” he said.
On Wednesday, 22 October 2014, Dominic climbed over the White House fence at 7:16 p.m., but was quickly subdued by K-9 units. Earlier Thursday, 23 October, he appeared in court before a federal magistrate judge, charged with unlawfully entering the restricted grounds of the White House and harming two law enforcement dogs that were released to take him down.
A preliminary hearing and detention hearing have been scheduled for Monday, 27 October 2014.
