Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels: a Celebrity Love Story
On Sunday, 31 March 2019, Prince Ned Nwoko, an international lawyer and prominent politician from Idumuje ugboko in Aniocha North local government area of Delta State, rolled into Asaba town in a glittering black Rolls Royce, one of his many exotic cars. He was escorted by a convoy of few equally exotic automobiles.
The Delta billionaire had not come for an ordinary visit; he came to meet the family of Regina Daniels for the customary marital ceremony. According to an eye witness who does not want to be named, among those who accompanied him to the quiet but eventful ceremony were some of his expatriate friends, selected close family relations and few palace chiefs including the Iyase of the Idumuje – Ugboko, Chief Chris Ogwu.
The marriage introduction took place at Asaba in presence of Regina ‘s mother, her uncle who stood in for her biological father as well as all her siblings. We gathered that Regina had joined them for the engagement ceremony about 15 minutes after others were already seated, accompanied by some of her female friends.
A source very close to Nwoko told XCLUSIVE MAGAZINE that the high flying Idumuje ugboko prince wanted a quiet ceremony, something hush-hush. After the marriage ceremony, which lasted from about 6pm to about 6.45pm, Ned and his entourage departed Asaba for a scheduled visit to a prominent traditional ruler in a neighbouring community.
The Romance and Mouthwatering Pecks
For 2 years before the engagement ceremony, the Anioma billionaire Prince Nwoko and Nollywood actress, Miss Regina Daniel have been having a sizzling romance. Dating a billionaire usually comes with some mouthwatering pecks, and the Delta billionaire philanthropist, described to XCLUSIVE MAGAZINE by one of his close associates, “as a classy man enamoured with good life,” did not disappoint. He showered on Regina opulent gifts ranging from exotic cars to a multi-million Rolex wrist watch and an eye-popping palatial mansion located at Okpanam road behind a popular hotel, Swiss spirit hotel Asaba, the Delta State capital, among other sundry items of endearment. The marriage was held in the house bought by Ned for the family.

There is also a recent media report that Regina Daniels acquired a posh Ferrari just days after her marriage to Prince Nwoko. But a source very close to Regina revealed to XCLUSIVE MAGAZINE that the magic on wheels of a car was actually not a new acquisition, rather it was one of the exotic cars in Nwoko’s fleet of cars.
“Regina is now married to Ned and has full access to all Ned’s exotic cars. All she needs to do from now is just stroll down the garage, choose whichever car that tickles her fancy and go for a ride. It is as simple as that,” said our source.
Nwoko/Daniel’s Love Affair: Hit or Miss?
Ned and Regina’s romance and marriage has generated widespread attention and mixed feelings.
Ned, as he is fondly called, is 59-years-old while Regina is about 19. Some bystanders have raised eyebrows over the love tango based on the 40-years age gap. This category see the engagement as incongruous and totally strange. Others have, however, given thump-up for the love-struck duo, celebrating the affair as permissible since the two are consenting adults entitled to privacy and preference.
According to the proponents of the engagement, neither Ned Nwoko nor Regina Daniel had broken any law of the land since the relationship aligned with the established legal age of matrimony which is 18, and even the religious inclination of Ned. He is a muslim.
“Prince Ned Nwoko’s engagement to Regina Daniels is a celebrity love story reminiscent of the famous tie between iconic Biafran war lord, late Chukwuemeka Odemegwu and the ex-beauty queen Bianca Onoh, who got married in 1994,” said a source who spoke to XCLUSIVE MAGAZINE on condition of anonymity.
“Ojukwu then was over 60 years and Bianca in her 20s. Engagements/marriages among older men and younger females abound world wide and have existed since ages,” he said.
Insider sources reveal to XCLUSIVE MAGAZINE that Regina’s family are enthused with her romantic liasion with the Idumuje ugboko prince. Her mother who lives in Asaba and her entire family are said to be fully in support of the affair with prayers for a blissful relationship.
