Linda Ikeji shows off her brand new 2014 Range Rover
The Nigerian famous blogger, Linda Ikeji, bought a brand new 2014 Range Rover Sport Supercharged today. Writing about it on her blog, Linda states that her birthday is this coming Friday, and the N24million car is her unique way of giving herself a birthday treat.
The last 2014 Range Rover Sport is an addition to Linda’s other expensive collection of cars, a 2008 Toyota Camry and 2011 Infinity FX 35.

Linda writes that flaunting her brand new car and her other expensive collections is to motivate other women, to show that hard work pays and to send the message to many young Nigerian girls that they should not depend on men for survival.
“Now there’s something I want to say to all the young girls reading this. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a man buying you things, but always remember that if you believe in yourselves and your dreams, you work hard and stay focused, there’s absolutely nothing you can’t buy for yourself. I’m not only buying myself cars that I want, I’m in the process of buying my own house, with my own money.
“I made it on my own, in my own way and on my own terms. If anybody ever tells you that the only way you can make it in life is by laying on your back, the person lied to you. You don’t have to do that. You shouldn’t do that. You are strong, you are brave, you have been blessed with a talent, find yourself, believe in yourself, push yourself…and never give up. No money is sweeter than your own money, trust me. You can do it. Yes, you! You can do it. Just be patient, pay attention and work your butt off.”
Linda, who had tried her hand as a model, a model manager, events planner, a columnist, and had even written a book before she finally became a blogger, which, as you can see has now paid off, wants these women to know that men are not the only option to make it in life.
“YOU are an option and once you go to God and tell Him what you want to do and He sees that you are serious, He will lead you, He will guide you and He will make all your dreams come true. Think about it, the people who are successful in life don’t have two heads. Why can’t you be one of them? You really can be. It’s up to you.”
Many LIB (Linda Ikeji Blog) are full of praises for her hard work that is now paying off. But a particular reader is not really impressed with what he calls “this life of Bling.” The anonymous commentator writes: But the big question is: are you celebrities truly passing across the right message! Are people still being encouraged to be doctors and lawyers rather than this life of Bling we see! Are you truly a wealthy girl worth over 100M or this is just another yahoo boy stunt where people just try to portray themselves bigger than they are? I know many CEOs who cannot afford this Car o! they can scrap together 24M for sure! but cannot afford! it in the true sense of things.
