Guinea House at 27 Marine Road, Apapa, Lagos & Senator Peter Nwaoboshi

I Own Delta House – Sen. Nwaoboshi

In what is a massive climb down from the height of his initial bare-faced denial of the exposé on the N7billion Delta House Scam, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has finally accepted that he, indeed, bought Guinea House, a property that was owned by Delta State Government located at No 27 Marine Road, Apapa, Lagos.

“The said Property was Published for sale on 30th of April 2014 on Pointer Newspaper. Adverts made for bidders, I bidded with companies like Costain and other 3 Companies and I own the house, the records are there,” he said in a statement posted by his political aide, Hon. Leo Nkeaka.

As a typical Nigerian politician whose stock-in-trade is that of intimidation, deceit and lies, Nwaoboshi’s initial reaction to the Exposé was outright denial of the allegation as “False, Fallacious and Misleading”, dismissing Xclusive Magazine, Prince Kpokpogri and Fejiro Oliver as “Bunch of Liars.”

In a press statement signed by his aide, Hon. Leo Nkeaka, the Ibusa-born Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District had insisted “that this information or news is False, Fallacious and Misleading. Any right thinking Nigerian with such allegation should first visit the anti graft agencies offices for some material evidence to back such Publication.”

The Chairman Senate Committee on NDDC went further to argue: “Let us even assume BUT NOT ADMITTING that the said house was sold as alleged, the Executive Governor has every right to sell Government Property under his Custody as the Chief Executive Officer of the State Government while Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has his right too to bid for the Purchase of the said Property as a Lawyer of 25 years Standing, a Successful Politician for over 35 years, an Administrator and an Industrialist of world Class.”

He then concluded by appealing to his gullible political followers “to disregard and discard the said news from Xclusive Magazine, Fejiro , Prince Kpokpogri and co and treat as FALSE, INCONSEQUENTIAL, UNFOUNDED AND UNTRUE.”

Now that the self-style Oracle has finally come to terms with the fact that his ownership of Delta House is public knowledge, he has to do the needful by coming out clean to the good people of Delta State and explain how and why he bought a choice property worth about N7billion for a paltry N800m.
