Chidi Mokeme Resumes As Gulder Ultimate Search Host

Second Chance: Nollywood star, Chidi Mokeme to host this year’s Gulder Ultimate Search

42-year-old Nollywood star, Chidi Mokeme, at a selection party which held inside the new Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel and Suites, Saturday, 6th September, 2014, has been chalked, the second time in a roll, as host of this year’s Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS), a remake of his 2004 and 2005 hosting.

Before his seven years break in 2006, the Anambra born actor was the host of the first two editions of the famed reality TV show, “The Legend of Captain Kush” in 2004 and The Lost Helmet of General Maxmillian in 2005. This year edition tagged, ‘The Mission’ marks the eleventh year of the show. According to gathered reports, the showdown will be screened from Aguleri Forest in Anambra State, from 19th September to 16th October.

Mr. Ezeugo Egwuagwu was the winner of the first edition of GUS, which screened from Snake Island, in Lagos. Subsequent editions of the show have been held in the hills of Obudu, Cross Rivers State (2005), the Nigerian Institute For Oil palm Research (NIFOR), Edo State (2006), Shere Hills in Jos Plateau State (2007), Awgu Hills, Enugu State (2008), Omodo Forest, Aagba, Osun State (2009), Omo Forest, J4, Ogun State (2010), Egbetua Ososo, Edo State (2011), Usaka forest in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State (2012) and last year’s edition, the 10th Symbol, screened from Utaka forest, Obot Akara Local Government, also in Akwa Ibom State.
