For their dashed hope, the parents of the Chibok girls are livid, claiming they’ve been “caught up in a political game” and accusing the Nigerian government of lying “few times” and lacking “credibility.”
Surprisingly, many Nigerians received the news of the Chibok Girls’ rescue with cautious optimism. They argued that the Nigerian army once told the world that the Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau had been killed, but it turned out to be a ruse.
In her captivating and spellbinding speech, the Chibok Girls activist and fighter declared that “the world cannot move on until the girls are found” and that the savages must not be permitted to go on.
A military source told the media that even though there is no concrete evidence that the Chibok girls were in the forest, it will be the top priority of the military to find and rescue them if it eventually turns out they are being held there
