Delta Speaker, Oborevwori Congratulates Utuama At 70
The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated former Deputy Governor of the State, Prof Amos Agbe Utuama (SAN) on his 70th birthday.
The Speaker in a statement described the former Deputy Governor as a patriotic Nigerian, adding that Deltans in particular and Nigerians in general will continue to tap from his wealth of experience.
According to the statement; “I wish to on behalf of myself and family congratulate the former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof Amos Agbe Utuama ( SAN) on his 70th birthday.”
“Your Excellency, as a Statesman, you have distinguished yourself in the academic, legal profession and live a life of service. Your contributions towards the development and progress of Delta State are remarkable.
It is highly pleasing to join other Deltans and Nigerians to share this epoch and joyful moment with you and family”, the Speaker said.
He prayed God should continue to shower the Septuagenarian with good health, keep and protect him, adding that; It is my prayer that your sun will continue to shine before men as you attain the age of 70 today. Congratulations once again our great scholar and legal luminary”.
Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has also congratulated Prof Utuama as he joins septuagenarian’s club. Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Charles Aniagwu, noted in a statement on Sunday that Prof. Amos Utuama is a loyal and committed patriot whose invaluable service to Deltans will remain indelible in their hearts.
“I join your family, friends and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for His continued guidance, protection and provision for you in the past 70 years of a life of forthrightness and outstanding patriotism with which He has blessed you,” Governor Okowa stated.
