Aeroland is a Thug – Screams Adeola “YAYI” Solomon
The All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for the Lagos West Senate seat, Honorable Adeola Solomon, popularly known and referred to as YAYI by his ardent followers and supporters, has publicly proclaimed that his opponent Segun Adewale a.k.a. Aeroland is a thug and hence does not deserve to be in the game of politics.
This was one of the many shocking declarations of the experienced politician at a recent conference that was held in Lagos in his honour by some men of the press. YAYI did not mince words as he outrightly said this in response to a question about his claim that he was attacked by his opponent.
“Yes I was attacked. I have proofs. He came to my office with a gun and I saw him. He is a thug, and the electorate should be wary of him,” he said.
Earlier, both politicians have reported threats on their individual lives by the opponent, and this is still being investigated by the police. According to an inside source, it was gathered that Hon. Adeola, who presently sits in the Federal House of Reps on behalf of about four million citizens in Alimosho Local Government, sees no threat in his opponent and views him only as a man who wants to use him as a platform for fame.
YAYI whose campaign is arguably the most aggressive in Lagos at all levels, benching even the Presidential and Governorship candidates with billboards and posters in all the corners of Lagos, openly boasted of his campaign manager and party thus buttressing his earlier submission that Segun Adewale is no threat to him in the race.
The firebrand politician has also revealed to the shock of not a few that his opponent was a cultist while in the University of Ibadan, where he had his first degree in Geography.
In YAYI’s words: “When you see him ask him how he got the scar on his face. He was a cultist, he is a thug and he has nothing to offer.”
He concludes by calling Aero a novice in the game of politics and Lagos has no room for experiments. He describes himself as an unwilling politician whose only goal is to serve and be loyal to the people he represents.
The chartered Accountant turned politician did not forget to outline some of his philanthropic gestures to his community. He then added: “These things I did with my personal funds”.
As at the time of sharing this story, Aeroland has not responded to YAYI’s claims, but our ears are opened and as soon as he responds, we would bring you exclusive details of his reaction.
